Biddenden Vineyards has won awards in national and international competitions for both its wines and ciders, and 2014 is no different.
The English & Welsh Wine of the Year 2014 is open to all different styles of still and sparkling wine now produced in the UK. The wines were judged over two days at Balliol College in Oxford by a team of six Masters of Wine and marked to international standards. Biddenden entered their three 2013 vintage still wines, Ortega 2013, Gribble Bridge White 2013 and Gribble Bridge Rose 2013, with the Gribble Bridge White & Rose both achieving silver medals and our Ortega receiving a bronze.
