Taywell Ice Creams’ expansion abroad continues to gather momentum as it secures a listing in a Thai supermarket chain for next year to join its arrival in Hong Kong and Dubai. Once it finalises its import license for Thailand, the taste of Kent will become available to all the British and European expats throughout the country.
After sending a pallet to Belgium earlier this summer, the company has now sent another to a distributor in the Netherlands but this time loaded up with Japanese flavours. It appears that the Two Star Award for Yuzu Sorbet (the Japanese lemon) won at the latest Great Taste Awards has increased awareness of our Asian range.
With a fantastic summer nearly over, sales of ice cream this year have been remarkably good and our Kentish ice cream can now be found in numerous restaurant chains in London and throughout the south east of England. The recent opening of a distribution centre in Leicester will allow Taywell to be represented right across the Midlands and into the large cities of Birmingham, Oxford, Coventry and Leicester.
