Biddenden Vineyards has won awards in national and international competitions for both its wines and ciders, and 2014 is no different.
The English & Welsh Wine of the Year 2014 was hosted by Thames & Chilterns Vineyards Association at Balliol College in Oxford on 5th & 6th June 2014. The judges were Anthony Foster MW (Chair), David Bird MW, Sally Easton MW, Robin Crameri MW, Maggie McNie MW and Dee Blackstock MW. We entered our three 2013 vintage still wines, Ortega 2013, Gribble Bridge White 2013 and Gribble Bridge Rose 2013, with the Gribble Bridge White & Rose both achieving silver medals and our Ortega receiving a bronze.
