Barnardo’s charity shop in Green Street Green has received a fundraising boost this Christmas, thanks to the donation of a hamper by Holwood Farm Shop at Downe. Packed with festive favourites from the local food specialist, the hamper will be included in a tombola to raise money for the children’s charity. “We’re really grateful to Gary and Sarah at Holwood Farm as it’s always lovely to have support from local businesses,” said Nicola Wells, the charity shop’s manager. “We have lots of fabulous prizes in the tombola which runs right up until Christmas Eve.”
